There is much information available about many topics on the internet today, and this information grows by the hour.
When it comes to Aquarium This information can be both a blessing and a curse. For the average fan is easy to be fooled by the lack of anecdotal information that is common. This is compounded by the popularity stick to other posts (or the right of plagiarism) that have no real basis in research or even the practical real world experience.
What then is a snowball effect whereby the same anecdotal stories are copied again and again to the point that a new fan it hard to believe that an article right when everything else they read, says otherwise (and unfortunately this time with many aquarists who are too lazy or arrogant to check the facts).
